Close observers of our magnificent moggies will notice that when they shake their heads rather violently from side to side to shake off droplets of water (used here by the photographer for effect) their eyes roll wildly upwards, sometimes with the inner eye half closed, making them look totally crazed. A black background page, here is fur flying, ears sideways and swinging, whiskers tumbling, mouths drooling (just a little bit) as we see tabbies, long-haired greys and gingers with names like Lorax, Gandalf and Tickles plus lots of rescue cats photographed by a self-confessed cat crazy lady. The second half of the book is Lick Cats, wide-eyed tabbies and Siamese and brindle and one cat with one brown and one blue eye, all with little pink tongues poking out, and tiny white teeth sometimes showing. The kittens have particularly startled faces and once again many of the models are rescue cats.
